I just received a my arm rest dvd/monitor system and I am looking a for a spot to tap into that is only powered when the car is on vs always on. I have a cigarrette lighter in the rear of the center arrmrest. Is that power always on? Also while looking for somethins that slid off the front passenger seat I noticed a lot of empty electrical socket under the seat. Can any of those be used? Thank you

All of the accessory plugs are unswitched power I am afraid.
Try looking for the telephone prep wires under the passenger seat.
Depending on which telephone prep option you have it will be either Red/Black or Black/Yellow. Brown is ground. These are switched power.
Should be easy enough to test with a volt meter.
Terminal 15 is switched +12 volts
Terminal 31 is ground
Terminal 30 is unswitched +12 volts
