The PCM3 on my '09 GTS has been killing me. I have been late for 3 appointments because it kept leading me to streets in wrong districts of Boston.

First of all, the database does not contain district names such as Dorchester. Instead, I have to enter Boston and pick from zip codes if certain streets exist in more than one district, or enter the zip codes directly. However, it seems that the PCM3 does not give a crap about my input, but picks the zip code that it likes.

If you live in Boston area, try searching for 90 Harvard Ave, Allston, MA 02134. You will end up at 90 Harvard Ave, Dorchester, MA 02121, which is about 20 minutes away. You can also look up 500 Washington St, Dorchester (enter "Boston" instead), MA 02124. It will bring you to 500 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111 instead, no matter which zip code you pick from the list.

Is there an upgrade that can solve this?

On the other hand, PCM3 gives too much weight towards big streets and tends to ignore small alleys which are always much faster than the former. Is there any way to adjust it?

Thanks!

I had the same issue and almost missed a wedding. At least with the new upgrade Bluetooth is working 100%. I do get complaints however that I am a bit distorted. Never had that before the last update to 3.104.

interestingly when sitting in an 09 c4s at a dealer yesterday, I played with the nav and entered a phone number search for a place that has been in business using that number for 10 years,,,,and it wouldn't allow the entry at the last few digits. couldn't source the number. not a good sign.

the bluetooth in my 08 s4 avant is really good while in the lr3 is sucks, according to every person on the other end, including me one day when my fiance was out in the lr3. i'm like "honey, WTF is wrong with the phone?" and she says "yeah, what i've been saying to you for two years about how it sucks to be the caller on the other end" hmmmm ;)

the bluetooth sound for callers was great in the 07 bmw wagon too and the nav info was endlessly great and easy to use in my opinion.

Have not had this problem with my '10 TS. You may have to first cue in the state and then the zip. I had no problem with address you gave as the zip does not change so it will not give me Dorchester over Boston (wrong zip)??
