Hi,

Experienced something strange today with my wives TT '08. Noticed that all the gear lights were burning on my display (1,2,3,4,5, D, N, R), all at the same time. My tiptronic did not react at this time. Restarting the car 'fixed'it. I remember reading a post about this iin the past, but I can't find it anymore.

Any ideas on what causing this?

Regards, frank

There are a few things that could cause this type of fault. A code should have been stored so you will need to have them read out. I personally wouldn't bother unless it happens again. Is the vehicle still under warranty??

Yes, the car is still under warranty.

I had it today again! Same experience. Will drive by the dealer this week.

Just wanted to be prepared for the "we don't see anything wrong with your car" remark.
So any thoughts?

Regards, frank

fixed!

Dealer replaced the sensors near the gear lever. There were producing errors, so the car did not know precisely what the selected gear was.

Warranty.
