  1. Bad multi-function switch? The part ref is P986.325.612.01 007227/SWITCH
  2. http://www.getridofthings.com/get-rid-of-skunk-smell.htm
  3. What you describe is normal operation for the warning light as outlined in my user manual for a 2000S I don't understand the logic but it is normal.
  4. The only way to minimize tire noise is to go with the N rated OEM tire for your car. Expensive, but quiet. Porsche works with the tire manufacturer to insure ride and noise characteristics match the car. Nothing wrong with non N tires, some are just noisier than others.
  5. My dealer printed out complete history no problem. Can't hurt to ask.
  6. Is the fuel cap tight? Does it need to be replaced. Does anyone remember a recall on fuel filler caps? I know my 911 will not run with the cap off as the system needs to be sealed.
  7. You shouldn't have a problem if the vehicle smog related equipment is all stock. If the exhaust has been modified and the technician performing the test is familiar with Boxsters it may not pass the visual inspection.
