  1. Hello all - I am hoping you can help me. My CTT has around 90K miles on it. So far I have replaced the cardan shaft bearing, coolant pipes (including the t), and the faulty trans valve body. It has been doing great until the last couple weeks. It has developed a serious hesitation when accelerating past 30ish or so. It seems to only be when the CTT is warm. After the hesitation starts and the CTT is warm, it also starts to idle rough at that point as well. I have no CEL on and no codes stored in the computer. I have parked it and am driving my backup X5, but life in it is miserable compared to the CTT (although double the MPG has been nice!! ). Can you help me figure out what to replace? I am thinking it is time for spark plugs and coils as those are originals and that is what it feels like, but thought I should have a CEL for that to be the case. I usually get my stuff from ECS as there are no local Porsche dealers around me for several hours. Thanks for any help in advance!!
  2. I finally had a free moment to install my rebuild kit i ordered from ECS. Everything works perfectly now! Best $10 I have ever spent! The dealer originally quoted around 1800 to do. CRAZY!!
  3. The way I read my link, was that was the actual full replacement assembly. Is it not? I am pretty mechanically inclined; is this a DIY kinda job? Whats the best place to buy a Durametric? Thanks again for your help!
  4. Unfortunately I don't. I am going to buy one though. I went ahead and took it in and they said it needs a new air pump/compressor. They quoted me 1700 for it. Is that part I listed above what they are talking about replacing? The strange thing is, I can hear what sounds like an air compressor pumping. So I wonder if it just has a bad seal or ring and not letting it charge the actuator. If I don't do it immediately, will it harm anything driving it like it is? It is in its normal stance right in the middle.
  5. http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Touareg_1--V6/Suspension/View_All/ES289283/ Is that what this is? I have been searching and reading quite a bit trying to learn what I can about this amazing machine. Thanks for your help!
  6. Hi everybody. I am loving the site and excited to get to be a part. I bought a 2004 Cayenne Turbo and am having problems with the air suspension. It has a amber light on in the dash that shows a car with the up and down arrows. The CTT will not go up or down. When I push down on the selector it says the accumulator is charging. When I push up, it says that I have selected a height (or something like that) and then the arrows on the selectors flash red. The Cayenne seems to be at a elevated height right now but will not adjust. I can hear a air pump running toward the right front, but nothing ever happens. No other warning lights are on and it rides perfectly fine. It will allow me to change the shock setting if that helps any. Any ideas?
