  1. ... after reading the owners manual on headlight removal and doing so, I found that the washer unit is accessible once the headlight is removed. The remaining question is if the entire unit really has to be replaced and if so, is there a way to save $$. I noticed the ad for parts at dealer prices on the renntech site, but I live in WA, so according to the disclaimer I can't use that shop. Suggestions? Thanks, Jens WOW Loren - that was super fast!!! Thanks! I was in the garage while you replied and didn't even see your post prior to writing mine. Can you confirm that Sunset parts does not sell to WA or OR?
  2. I have a similar problem with these washers and would appreciate any advice. Mine is a 2000 C2 Cabrio, and one of the two driver side washer jets is missing. The Porsche dealer sais that the entire unit has to be replaced (both jets and the base). The part is $122 and according to him the bumper might have to come off to replace the unit.... $$$ labor. Could you please let me know if this is really what it takes to replace this little plastic jet? I've seen these missing on several 996 while we were shopping for ours. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
