Hey Everyone, So I own a 2004 Cayenne Turbo 2004. I don't drive the it much but today when I went to turn the car on the speedometer didn't power-up. So I turn the car off and restarted and still nothing. Everything else works fine expect for the windshield wipers and speedometer. I'm thinking it's a fuse but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had these issues. Video and pictures coming soon! And tomorrow morning I'm testing the fuses to see if maybe it's loose or blown. -
Hey guys hoping somebody on here can fill me in on capabilities of the dealer software: Can you adjust the wheel size/speedometer pulse count in the computer? I have owners manual sized tires and the speedometer is WAY off, to the tune of 5mph fast. The speed doesn'tbother me so much as the odometer being way out of proportion to actual miles driven. I am also considering going away form the stock size tires so this would be extremely helpful for that. thanks! -
The city where I live has recently installed radar speed displays all around town. The speed on the displays match exactly with the speedo in my Mercedes. However, the speedometer in my 2001 996 Turbo is off by about 10%. When the speedo shows 33 mph, the radar shows 30, when it shows 44 the radar shows 44. I have the proper size tires on the car so I have dismissed this as the source of the error. Is there any way to adjust the speedometer in my Porsche. I ask because I know I can (somewhat) easily adjust the speedometer in my Mercedes. Thanks.
