968 CR-1 Radio codes

Recommended Posts

  • Admin
Hi - I've done some searches but cannot find a radio code for the 1992 968 CR-1 radio.

From my other 968 the code 5625 does not work

Anybody have some other codes I could try?

Thanks,

Ben

Becker is the manufacturer? or Blaupunkt?

Do you know (for sure) if it requires a 4 digit or 5 digit code?

I do know it required a 4 digit code. I have 2 968 cars and the original radio code card is still with my Club Sport replica and the radios are the same. Pretty sure it is not Blaupunkt - on the 968 forum it has been reported as an Alpine and a Becker. I don't know for sure.

Thanks Loren - the help is most appreciated

I recently had my fading battery changed and then realized I can't find the radio code.  I have 1992 968 cabriolet.  My daily driver and now missing my tunes.  I have a Becker CR 210 cassette player.  I think the model is R2095, but I'm not really sure about that number.  The S/N is Y5003159.  Any help with the missing code would be greatly appreciated.

Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for a list radios we can decode.
