Replacing Brake Light Switch

I need to replace my brake light switch at the brake pedal. I have remove the electrical wiring clip that connect to it but not sure how to remove the body of switch from brake assembly. I tried to ull it out with my fingers but it's pretty tight. Is there a release clip of some type or do you need to use a screwdriver to pry it out?

It is a bayonet-type fitting. Turn the body 1/4 turn (counter-clockwise IIRC) and it should release from the bracket.

Thanks richard. I did that and it came out easily, now all I have to do isc wait for the part to arrive.
