Hey, I've been searching the forum without much success finding DIY experiences from Cayenne S water pump replacements. Maybe it's not yet a common problem. My '05 has about 80K miles on it. I bought the car in Atlanta and added the Certified warranty. It expired in early January. I was able to get quite a bit of work done from it, including the metal coolant pipe retrofit under the manifold about 5 months ago. In my opinion, they should have replaced the water pump while in the system.<BR><BR>Any way, has anyone done a water pump? I'd like to partially drain the radiator beforehand, to avoid a coolant dump. The coolant is so fresh I'd like to recycle it and pour it bank in after pump replacement. Where is the drain plug? I think I can handle the R&R of the pump - it's all right there on top. TIA..Dave
