On the old version it would remember what post number I left the topic on so when I returned to the topic it would automatically scroll to the newest post since my last visit. Is this feature possible on the new version or is it a setting?

In the View New Content click on the circle (or the star) next to the post to go to the latest unread.

or... use Content I have not read in the View New Content.

You have to use full edit and change the tag dropdown. I took care of it for you.

Yep, tried that and saved the post, but it didn't change.

I checked permissions - if you can edit then you can change things. And, you did an edit.

It should update the tag on saving the edit.

Try it again next time and let me know if it still does not work.
