Hi, just bought a (2010) 911 Carrera and have been unable to add my phone. The car finds the phone, but when I select it, it says the phone list is full and I need to delete older paired phones to add mine. I select a phone to delete and it says "delete failed"; I then tried to delete the entire list and I also get "delete failed".

Is there another way to force this procedure? Thank you.

Just now figured it out on my ‘09 C2S

Step 1. Press Info button
Step 2. Press Option button
Step3. Click the on screen option ‘Set PCCM System’
Step 4. Click the on screen option ‘Reset’
Step 5. Click the on screen option ‘Vehicle hand over’ (did not choose factory settings as did not want to rick loosing any version updates ir messing something else)
Step 6 and 7: select Yes for confirmations to proceed.

All devices should be gone now plus any other data like phonebook and navigation addresses.

you may also notice that in the Source menu, some options like AUX/iPOD etc have also disappeared.

Go to Source: Select ‘Disc’ (have to have a disc inserted and car engine running), then click Options and it takes you to a menu to select various sources to select and display in the Source menu

Hope this helps. Good Luck
