1992 968 CD-2 Radio Code

Recommended Posts

Loren,

Tried to enter 63421 and when I pushed the 6 I got no reply. I then pushed 3421 and "in" appeared on the screen but I did not get a successful entry. I do appreciate all your assistance. I will check the serial # once again. Thank you.

Loren,

Thought you might want to file this for future reference. I was finally able to get code for my 1992 968. The radio serial # is B00614581B. The radio is an original Alpine CD-2 which was a $1325.00 upgrade in that year. The code is 31125. Thank you.

Hi Pineweasel, I have a 92 Carrara 2 that I am redoing and it has been in a garage for 2 years. Dead battery and radio asks for code . No code in the manual. The number on the back of the radio manual has a sticker that reads : B10316964C (serial number??) . Any chance that you might be of assistance? I will be riding a bike through Waterville on Sunday or Monday.

My car was not driven for years and the CD-2 radio will not work.

Loren-

I need a code to make my CD-2 radio work in my 1991 Porsche 911.

On the back of my radio I find:

S/NO 0P0 CD – 2A11 15819

Below the serial number, also stamped in the back of the radio case is

B01115819C

On the side of the radio on a paper sticker is the number:

54A90727F02-A

Can you please help me with a code? The digits 53113 do not work.

Thanks,

Jerry

That is an Alpine radio - sorry but I can not help with Alpine radios as I do not have the codes.
