2004 Cayenne S ABS module replacement

Recommended Posts

My dealer quoted me $3000 to replace Broken ABS module, I am getting constant PSM and ABS workshop messages, dealer stated ABS module corroded with liquid from cup holder.

Is the repair cost reasonable ? Is it simple replacement which a handyman can perform ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have not come across this one before, hard to refute dealer claim since they can talk to the units. Do you have access to a Durametric cable and software, you should be able to pull error messages to confirm.

As far as DIY, a new module needs to be programmed into the car. makes it tough
