Power windows not working!

Hi there,

 

I just picked up my new (to me) 1980 911 SC Targa and now I'm encountering my first glitch.  Both power windows are not working!  the fuse looks good.  Could it be the relay?  is there anyway of testing the relay or do you just have to buy a new one and try?  Any advice is appreciated.

Ok, so I'm learning about this car day by day.  I managed to track down the problem.  there is a wire that plugs in near the seam of the front door and front fender.  If you open the door and look forward into the top of the fender you will see the wire.  Mine was not secured in it's clap and most likely jarred loose.  I simply reached in with my fingers (really tight spot) and managed to line up the plug with the socket and then used a flathead screwdriver to reach in to push the plug in its place.  Took a few minutes to line the up but it's done!  Now on to the next glitch......
