There is no heater valve, all functions work with servo motors connected on flaps. The heater core has always the same temp. as the cooling water; it is the passing air, depending on the temp. you set on the control panel, whether or not heated. Check first if the heater core warms up.

By the way, i remember there was some kind of valve:

That's an air-valve. And the size of the hose connecting to it is about 13mm.. and the outlet of the valve into the glovebox even smaller. If you can notice the difference in air-temperature in the cabin with that open or closed you are much more sensitive than the normal human being.  I can't barely tell if it's open or closed feeling inside the glovebox. IMHO - the idea is poorly executed and pretty much a joke.

drstephensugiono: in the case of a failed servo motor, a decent diagnosis system should intercept the error and report as a code. A defective flap or broken connection, of course, is not recognized by the system just as a permanent cold heater core. These conditions are still to be monitored through the values of the different temperature sensors, outside, inside, mix, etc. I do not know if Durametric can handle that.

ekstroemtj: the heater core is located inside the Heater/AC unit centrally under the dash.

I found fault 1809...drive motor for temperature valve left.  I tried to erase and would not, tried the second time and it did.  Then the car battery died...so I can test it.  Will report later.

 

Fault code 1809
Left temperature valve servo motor
 
Possible causes of fault
- No or incorrect basic setting
- Short circuit to ground
- Open circuit/short circuit to B+
- Servo motor flap stiff
- Servo motor faulty
- Front air-conditioning system regulator faulty
