I'm in the market for a GTS.  I think I am settled on RWD although I'd appreciate comments from those who think 4 GTS would be a better choice.  In considering the options to look for, I'm soliciting your thoughts on the value of the locking diff and sport suspension.  In particular what if you had to choose between the two.

Maybe way too late for comments, but...

In shopping for mine last year, I did find a very few with LSD only, but most were without, or with Sport Suspension.  A good option if you intend to track the car, otherwise, not needed, IMO.

AWD needed if you're in the snowbelt, and intend to drive it through the winter. I was just out on a 1500 mi drive with some friends, one of whom drives a 997TT.  After driving mine, he said he missed the dynamics of RWD.  Liked the handling of the GTS much better.

Finally, if you're considering PDK, Sport Chrono is a must.

I'll add late to this thread that I have a 2012 GTS RWD/6-speed manual w/ PASM (NOT SPASM) and do have the LSD.  PO nailed the options on this car when he specd it.  I would prefer it a bit lower and stiffer TBH.  The front end really washes away when accelerating through sweepers.  I'm adjusting that with some new bits myself, but in the future I would recommend cars with SPASM and the included LSD.
