Door sills light

Hi.

I have a PGTS with the door sills as shown in the picture. First I thougt that they would light up, but they don't. I don't have that option. I know you can buy new sills from suncoastparts, but I would like to see if light can be added to the original sills.

Have anybody tried this ?

Also I would like to see a wiring diagram for this.

I do not think you can light the originals as there is a translucent material over the cut out as well as LED mountings on the backside.

There is a 21 page (yes 21 pages) TSB just on installing them.

Strange the TBS only describe it for the Panamera S, 4S and Turbo. Why not the GTS or Turbo S ?

Yes - indeed. A lot of work. But **** it would look nice, especially if you could add the light to the original sills. I guess you could just buy the wiring harness and then add the light yourself. First thing to do would be to remove one door sill and see how it is made. Edited January 27, 2015 by P.Viby
