Hello... Again...

My PCM 2.1 on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo has on the information display, no satellites [Please check pic].

post-41858-0-47076800-1430347267_thumb.j

Firmware for both PCM and Navi DVD unit were upgraded, but no satellites. I checked it with the Durametric Pro but doesn't seems to fix the issue. Also I checked the connections from the antenna on the rear spoiler through the NAVI unit and it seems ok. I opened the GPS antenna and cleaned contacts overall, but still the same zero satellites results...

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Did you solve your problem?

No. I did the 148 & Fuse trick. Didn't work. I bought the GPS Antenna and waiting for its arrival...I'll notify whatever results when I install the new antenna...

Thanks anyways

Finally SOLVED!

It was the GPS Antenna! I replaced the unit in the Rear Lid Spoiler, but nothing! So I proceed to apply the 1-4-8 code and VOILA!  :jump:    It worked!!!

So I guess that if you have NO Satellites and applied code 1-4-8 and still no Sats after check connections, then you got a bad GPS Antenna unit.

Finally if you install a new GPS antenna, then apply code 1-4-8 on the PCM unit to reset and PCM to recognize new GPS Antenna. Here are today's picture with finally NAVI Unit fully working. I still got the warning triangles on the SW versions, but at least I can use the NAVI now!

I wrote down the numbers because Images, sometimes, are not displayed... I bought this item at www.ecstuning.com for around $79.00 [not including Shipping & Handling]

Hope this helps better to everyone in the future...

That is the Antenna for GPS w/o Satellite Radio.  If you have XM/Sirius then you need part 95564711701 which combines the GPS & Sat Radio into one antenna.  Congrats on the repair.

Well that's something that I didn't know, but it's a good thing to know... Mine doesn't have Sirius

And BTW thanks for the congrats :jump:
