Heard a 'loud' click when lowering top yesterday, sure enough, would not raise.  Clicking continues, the metal cover will loudly (with clicking) raise and lower without the soft top moving.

 

I was able to manually get the top closed with the metal top open.

 

Don't want to make matters worse/break more stuff, so not sure how to proceed, would like to try and figure out what broke and potentially fix myself.

 

Suggestions/ideas?

more research and i found at least a starting point, both push rod end caps snapped off (guessing one first, then the stress on the other side snapped the second one).

 

 

Got these guys on order, hopefully that will do the trick and I didn't jack up anything else...
