Audi R8 or 2011 MY Cayenne coil packs compatibility with first gen Cay

Recommended Posts

This might be a dumb question, but I noticed that Audi R8 Coil Packs (06E905115EKT, made by Bremi?) are compatible with a lot of VW/Audi models.  Considering I know nothing about coil packs besides the fact that they generate enough volts to make the plugs spark, and considering the number of things common between Touareg/Q7 and Cayenne, does anyone know if R8 coil packs or 2011+ MY Cayenne coil packs are compatible with Cayenne MY 2003-2008?

They look very similar in terms of physical aspects, but don't know if they generate the same voltage and have same resistance (Ohms, or is resistance boot based?) and or if circuit board inside them will make OBD throw up a code due to misfire.

Any other recommendations, Bremi, Bosch?
