Creaking Sorted!

Recommended Posts

Had a really annoying creaking noise from the drivers side front. got under the car but ouldn't establish where exactly it was coming from. so changed the o/s/f wish bone. whilst i was there, i put a set of cross drilled discs on. i did the pads and discs and wish bone in under two hours. saved a fortune. got the pads and discs from eurocar parts for a total of £180. porsche carge for standard parts fitted about £650. the wishbone was £140. bargain!!! :jump:

it's good when you know how to do work on a car like this, at first i was scared buying a boxster due to repair costs. this car has needed since i bought it 6 months ago loads of bits and pieces. starter motor, gearbox!!! it's a nice car but if you don't know what you are doing or don't have friends who are good mechanics you'd be financially screwed!!
