  1. Thanks Richard, I assumed it would update the head unit. That would explain the fact of not updating as I was using the 2009 map but I had previously had a full set of update discs to change from level A a couple of years back. Next time I'm at Parr Motorsport I will enquire about Level C head unit update, just curious. Cheers Simon
  2. Hello Richard. Thank you for the reply, i've not checked the Navigation numbers i forgot to do it. The 2012 map disc runs fine, I would have updated the Software to Level C but can't establish the disc part no. I thought that the Multimedia disc 000.044.901.40 would do it after running it. I would still like to Update to Level C but now confused if that's even possible, all the posts I have read indicate that the disc MY08 is the one to use. 3. New here my 1st question. I'm rather baffled by the PCM 2.1 update process. My Gen 1 Cayman S with Bose amp has PCM 2.1 SW version is 3.3 on Level B. I recently tried to Update to Level C with Multimedia Update disc 000.044.901.40 as per a Tech document I used a few years back to go from A - B with the relevant discs. After the process is finished the Software version is still listed as Level B 05024 ED/4705. The Navigation Map disc 2012 Europe reads fine Anyone else experienced this and if so did you manage to fix it ?
