  1. Has anyone experienced a CEL and the following code.... P1328 - Bank 1 inlet camshaft output stage - open circuit? When it happens there is no difference in performance, I just reset the CEL and all is well until the next time. does anyone know how to fix this permanently? Ive cleaned the engine connectors to the ecu and I plan to clean the solenoid connector just in case. Problem is I don’t know where it is! Can an someone explain where the solenoid I’d please thanks
  2. My 2004 C4 3.6 cylinders 4,5,6 were relined a few years back approx 25k due to bore score I’m seeing a very small puff of black smoke on start up from the left side now and I’ve using a little oil for quite a while I did a borescope and you can see a little oil pooling in cylinder 5 and 6 but there is none or very minimal scoring and you can still see the honing. I’m thinking seals rather than further scoring. anyone seen this after a cylinder reline before?
  3. I've just had a C4S borescoped as part of pre purchase inspection The car had cylinders 4,5,6 re lined a few years ago with addition of a new piston however, it looks like Cylinder 4 has a pool of oil and 5,6 have oil starting to appear. Cyl 1,2,3 all look normal What could of caused this after only about 15k miles worth of driving and what is the potential solution?
