  1. I finally sourced a PIWIS 2 system so I can program adaptions for the HomeLink retrofit. I have got the HomeLink control unit that must be installed in the front bumper and I have a new roof console with the Homelink buttons. The only thing missing now is the wire harness. Anyone know if the wiring for HomeLink control unit is available in the front bumper? I can not find a part number for any wiring harnesses specific for HomeLink options, so maybe the wiring is already there..? I haven't removed the front bumper yet myselft to take a look :)
  2. I have not installed and wired yet. Haven't found the time. Will let you know how it works out. I can't find the part number for the wire harness for the Homelink transmitter in the front bumper. Anyone know if coding is needed?
  3. So I figured out that the three wires connecting to pin C32 in the picture above is at the front BCM under the dashboad. I found this corresponding schematic in the wsm, see attachment. It seems that the Homelink signal is connected to the same wire and pin at the BCM as the electric power steering. In the schematic above, both the electric power steering and Homelink is connected to C32, but in the wsm, the three wires are labeled as "electric power steering" only. I can't understand why the Homelink signal and electric power steering is connected to the same pin and wire, and why the Homelink signal is not labeled in the wsm..?
  4. I do believe that the schematics I have originates from PIWIS, but I'm not sure. I can zoom around and move them about, but the problem is that the modules are not labeled for the 92A. Some other cars in Porsche WireView has much more detailed labeling, so connecting the Homelink module in a Boxster would be no problem. The attached picture is a zoomed version of where the third signal wire is to be connected, but I don't know what module it is supposed to connect to as the module is labeled as "BCM1C_P"
  5. Thank you for your help :) I found the same diagrams as you did after you pointed me to the wsm. However, this only covers the power and ground to the Homelink module. The third and last wire (signal) is not shown in the wsm. I tried to find it in the WDS, but the schematics for the 92A Cayennes are not labeled completely in WDS so I cannot figure out where to connect the last wire... I have no clue as to what module this wire is connected to. Any help?
  6. Hi,I have a 2012 Cayenne without Homelink. I'm going to try to retrofit this, so I bought an used roof console with the Homelink buttons and an used Homelink control module that is to be installed in the front bumper. According to the parts lists no other parts are needed. But how can I figure out how to wire the new roof console and the control module?I got hold of a wire loom for retrofitting Homelink for newer Audis and while these have a seperate PC board for the three buttons in the roof console that the wiring connects to, the Cayennes PC is integrated in the roof console. Is there a way to get hold of the schematics of the roof console and Homelink wiring?
