Door lock ?? As per picture

Car battery is 15 months old carpets are all dry , car locks with dash switch, no beeps its both doors locking and unlocking

car battery seems fine , or do you mean fob battery ?? i will change fob battery monday see if that makes any difference

I have had a good look around and can not seem to find anyone with the same problem ..... If i try and lock the car with the the fob it locks and then instantly unlocks its self ...... so i use the key and double lock it , ie 2 quick turns to the left and it locks ....then at some point during the night normally 3am the alarm goes off... and when i relock it ,its fine for the rest of the night .....another thing if i leave it for a few hours when i get home, double lock it as before but the alarm seems not to go off.. i am very confused and any pointers would be helpful , thanks mark 2001 986 3.2 s
