I understand about the booster.....my question was more on easiest way to get to it....remove dash? from behind glove compartment? thank you!

Hi Loren, please help.....bought this great 90 911....original becker radio in car (CR-220) everything worked but no tuner, just static. I take to a radio installer, he "guarantees" me that it's the radio, so he changes it and guess what....it was the antenna instead. so I have him put back my original radio and of course now I need a code....here is my radio info: Becker 1 Type 4462 Serial # 25011028 24/99 GAL 00 problem #2....so it's my antenna or booster I'm guessing. the installer said it's a nightmare to take dash off and try to fix and wanted to add an aftermarket, sort of stick on dash type antenna. I was not comfortable with this...so I ask you or any other Porsche owner that had a similar situation what they encountered and possible solutions. Have a great day and thanks in advance! R.S. -
