  1. Message me if you get a set and want to use the heated seat part. I designed a circuit board for using these seats with the factory switches. Way cheaper then the other options that are out there.
  2. Which wheel is the one that drives the speedometer on a 2000 with tiptronic? I can't find any definitive answer. I thought it was the front driver side. Asking because neither speedometer works and the abs light is on. It's not the gear since neither speedometer works. Thanks
  3. Curious if anyone knows. Is this fitting just a connector or does it have a check valve built into it? If it doesn't have a check valve built in then is there any reason some other method couldn't be used instead of a hard connection?
  4. Well, search and ye shall find. Looks like it is the brake booster vacuum line & fitting. Looks like a common item that breaks and causes leaks. Off to the dealer to pick one up.
  5. This is on the driver side intake manifold. I have a vacuum leak I think, and I am thinking this is at least 1 of them,if not the only one. I can't find in PET where the hose for this connection goes to, only the pn for the elbow. Anyone know or have any idea's? The part that is broken is pn: 999-230-498-40 I have a video too if you want to watch: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6314076/Boxster/2017-02-01 04.08.56.mp4
  6. Found it. The tubes are cheap, might as well just replace them all while I am in there.
  7. yes, 16" are cheaper, but getting harder and harder to find speed rated at that size. Anyone know the part number for the orings on the tubes? Went through PET and couldn't find it.
  8. Just picked up a 2000 Boxster. All in all it is in good condition. Needs a paintjob, but it runs. Deal was too good to pass up. Only has 92k on it. It does have a few issues. The PO didn't know anything about cars, let alone a Porsche. Bought it knowing it had a coolant leak, CEL was on for misfire and possibly needing 1 or more abs sensors. Wheels are unfortunately only 16's but they have new rubber on them. Top is in good condition but the back window is going to need to be replaced. Battery will also need to be replaced. I found the coolant leak, blown hose. Easy fix. Got the car running for a few just to get it in the garage. It is throwing P0300, P0302 & P0304. Plan on doing plugs this coming weekend, then coil paks if necessary. It does look like #4 is leaking though. Is that just the seal? Can the brake sensors be cut & crimped together at each wheel like they can on the 944's? Once I get the hose fixed this week and the plugs changed it will be getting a good wash, especially the engine, then it's off to get inspection & plates. The leak is the connection hose between the hard lines behind the one with the arrow on it. Leaking plug: f
