  1. I've managed to fill it in and sand the interface between original paint and the touch in paint down with 2500 grit to smooth it out (the photos show the finished job) It was scratching human skin before I started, but its now perfectly smooth. Its not under warranty any more, but i'm getting extended warranty on the car. Why do you ask? Is it a warranty requirement that it should be all intact?
  2. So i'm not quite sure how this happened, but do you guys think its worth getting this changed? I tried to touch it in with some paint but its very hard to match the exact finish. I enquired and the part is about £295 fitted (U.S. $380 incl. taxes). If it were your car, would you get it done? Its a 2014 Cayman S (981) I've taken a photo of my finger to show you a comparison of size.
  3. That looks like CDR or CDR+ as you don't have the navigation buttons (i.e. you have FM - AM - PHONE - CD AUX - SAT, whereas PCM has TUNER - MEDIA - PHONE - NAVI - MAP). However, I don't know if you have CDR or CDR+. Do you have a USB port? If you have a USB port then I think you will have CDR+. You definitely don't have PCM though.
  4. I don't have my service booklet yet. Right then, tell me about the back carpet...
  5. Hi Guys, I have a 2014 Porsche Cayman S that I purchased 2nd hand, and I'm looking to replace the PDK shifter. I need to know what my interior colour is, as it is red. I know there are different variations of red, including careera red or bordeaux red (and there was another one), but how do I find my exact colour code of my interior? I have my build list from my VIN (list of options on the car), but it doesn't state interior or exterior colours. Thanks Sunny
