qz5gxt posted a topic in Cayman, Cayman S, Cayman GTS, Cayman GT4 (981C)I am installing the OEM PSE exhaust and have the Porsche instructions. For the valve vacuum instructions it says to plug supplied new change over valve to the unused plug taped on the engine harness. But I have TWO unused plugs tapped on my engine wire harness in this location shown on instructions for the change over valve. (2014 Cayman S) Do I use the one with brown and black wires or brown and red wires. I know I have a 50-50 chance, but I don't want to pick wrong one and when I go to Porsche dealer to program the PSE button have it not work.

qz5gxt posted a topic in DIY Articles - Boxster/Cayman (981/C) - ModsI just purchased the complete Suncoast Porsche OEM new Porsche Sport Exhaust package. I know I have to take to dealer to program switch once installed but I plan to do the install minus programing. But Suncoast did not supply instruction like they said before I ordered. I have left messages with Suncoast but no replies. Can anyone direct me to where I can find install instruction for the vacuum and switch install? The exhaust install part I am OK with.
I found out myself. -adjust mirror to have access around back -use plastic trim tool and pry back of mirror at large circle attachment at back - once mirror off, top plastic mirror body color piece can be taken off after 3 screws removed I wrapped the top.....but did not like it and returned to original body color paint
I plan to matt black wrap my outside rear view mirrors to match my hood and roof. I could try to do mirrors on car but would be better if I could take off the body color housing of the mirrors to be able to complete wrap part anyone know how I can take off the glass mirror and body color housing of mirror on my 981 Cayman S?
