  1. My '06 Cayman S came with the Sport Chrono package, according to VIN Analytics. It has the dashboard stopwatch and a Sport button on the console. However, the Sport button doesn't appear to work (doesn't light up and no dash message) and there is no Chrono option in the menu. Is it possible that the Sport system has been disabled or turned off? Is there some way to check/fix short of going on a 2-hour trip to the nearest dealer? I just bought the Durametric tool. I haven't been able to find anything in there to help, but I've also only got like 15 minutes experience using it.
  2. First-time Porsche owner at age 57, loved them since I first saw a whale-tail '75 Turbo Carrera at age 13. Just picked up an '06 Cayman S on Thursday. I'd like to get a service manual. Back when I first got my Hummer I got a PDF of the manual and it's been a godsend, if for nothing else than getting part numbers and torque specs. I see multiple options for sale, ranging from $20 to $200 or more. Does anyone have a source for a manual they're happy with? Also, any opinions on a good diagnostic tool? The Durametric unit looks interesting.
