  1. Have a look at this website. http://www.carhifidirekt.de/catalog/produc...ker-m-kontakten
  2. Tool Pants, Can I get the part number for the 5-Way Female Black Connector and Terminals. Thanks! John
  3. Hi LV, Thanks for the follow-up information. I'll probably order them from Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Cost plus 15% is a pretty good deal. Which brake bleeder did you end up using? John
  4. Hi LV, The believe the brake caliper part numbers are as follows: Front Axle 996.351.425.01 L/H 996.351.426.01 R/H Rear Axle 996.352.421.03 L/H 996.352.422.03 R/H How did your brake caliper install go? What was the total cost? I'm probably going to do the same on my 03. Regards, John
  5. Hi Loren, Do you have any idea what year/model the Spoiler Extend/Retract Switch (996.613.155.00.A05) came on? I can only find information on the switch located in the fuse support center below fuse holder "E" and left of the emergency power pin. I also need the mating connector and terminal(s) part number too. Thanks much! John
  6. Thanks for the information guys. Hummm...... I ordered my service manual in July 2003 and their's been 55 supplements in little over a year? That's amazing! I believe I filled out an update supplement card and sent it into Porsche. They have never notified me. I wonder what's up with that. Porsche TSI wants $5200.00 for a one year subscription or $110.00 per document fee. I think that's a little too much. And, I understand the manual set is $2000.00 now. What I really need it the wiring diagram supplements for the 03. If you have the number, I'll order it. Thanks much! John
  7. Hi Loren, Thanks for the information. I'm at supplement WKD 483721.39. So I'll order supplements WKD 483721. (40) (41) (42). I'm assuming these supplements include all the updates for groups 0 through 9? Best Regards, John
  8. I need to bring my 996 service/shop manuals to current date. I need the part number(s) for the 03/04 supplements. That's if they are still available.
  9. The part number for the Porsche Parts Catalog CD (pdf format) is: 000-043-400-05 John
  10. Howdy Loren, Do you have the part number for this CD? I'll add it to my upcoming Sunset order. And, does Sunset sell B&M shifters by chance? Best Regards, John
  11. Hi mffarrell, The build date on my car was January 2003. Best Regards, John
  12. Many thanks to Loren, Boxer6, and Scouser. That's what I was leaning towards was the B&M instructions. While I got it apart, I might as well install the shifter kit too. mffarrell, I'll check the production date for you tomorrow. By the way, my car is a couple. When I called the service department and advised them of the seat campaign, they told me they never heard about it. Finally they figured it out and ordered the seats. Then they told me they would notify me when the seats came in. They never did! I had to call them two months later. So I took the car in on Friday and they said they would call to let me know when it was done. No phone call! I showed up at 5:00pm and it had been done for awhile. Then I find the gouge in the console and point it out to the service manager and technician. The technician stated the seats were very heavy and difficult to get in and out. I asked him what method he used to protect the console. It claims he used a fender cover. Niello's customer service is poor. Period!
  13. On Friday, I took my 2003 C2 to the local Porsche dealership here in Sacramento for the seat replacement campaign. Apparently while removing or installing the passenger seat, the technician put a 6" gouge in the center console. Naturally the technician played dumb. " I don't remember doing that". So after a brief go-around with the service manager and the technician , they agreed to replace the console. I'd like to replace the console myself. Can I get the R&R procedure so I can do it myself. I don't care for this dealership and was reluctant to take it there in the first place. I certainly don't want them to touch the car again. :soapbox:
