  1. Also, the another key reason for this is that you either left the Passenger Airbag Light unplugged when putting together the console, or turned the car on before it was plugged back in. Verify that your passenger airbag light lights up when the car is started. Also, the light has to be turned off by the dealer, but if everything is plugged back in, it should not return. - Suneet
  2. I'm waiting for the AVIC-D3 because it has all the features I want at the price point I want; expected release is March. I have a sound package plus car, so no fiber optics to worry about or disrupt. I just have to find some paint for a trim panel and locate the speed sensor wire in the car for the navigation unit. For illumination I plan on tapping into lights and for reverse sensor, the wire for the reverse tail lights. All those wires are required for a navigation system to function properly, but the PCM gets all the data through the MOST bus. As far as speaker and amplifier connections back there, it's all copper and already present and it's virtually plug and play. - SS
  3. This is a big assumption on my part, but does Porsche make touch-up paint for the volcano grey interior trim inside of the car? And if so, what is the part number? I would love to have some matching paint for a headunit trim panel I need to create for a double-din in-dash navigation unit. 2006 987 Cayman S 6-speed transmission Black interior (standard leather) USA Thank you, Suneet
  4. Brand new xenon lights go through a rapid "color shift" period for the first 100 hours in which they will start to put out more white light and turn a little purple in hue. They continue to color shift after that time but it becomes very, very gradual. If they continue to be green however, you might have a defective ballast or defective bulb. I recently did a Philips HID conversion and mine first lit up green, then turned a little yellow and are finally turning more white/purple to match factory xenon lights. - Suneet
