  1. What is the correct Porsche gear oil for the 981 series transaxles with Porsche Torque Vectoring? Suncoast lists it as "Manual Transmission Fluid - 75W-90 Code: 99991754600" but in response to my inquiry, they said they weren't sure if this was the correct fluid. My local Porsche dealer says they use bulk transmission fluid from Citgo in 55 gallon drums.
  2. Try this link: www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/ wheel-repair/wheel-scuff-repair.htm. I just used this method to repair one of the wheels on my wife's Merc. It worked well but took some time.
  3. Thanks to Porschelibrarian, I located the sender but found no fault in the connector. The dealer checked the sender itself, reported an internal short and replaced the sender with part # 996 606 203 01. Gauge workd fine now.
  4. I have a new 997S with an oil pressure gauge that always reads 5: before start up, at idle when warm, etc. Can someone tell me where the connector for the sensor is located on the engine so I can check for corrosion? Otherwise, off to the dealer.
