  1. I put Michelin Super Sports on this summer. I use them for street driving as well as my rain tires for the track. I've also used them for track tires when I've worn out my Hoosiers.... I love them!
  2. I put 10k on my 2007 RS this year, mostly track miles (30 track days). IT now has 17k total on it. I think it's great! The only issue is my son missed a gear at the last event of the year and blew up the clutch.
  3. This past weekend we blew up the clutch in mt 2007 RS. (glad it happened at the end of the season) As long as we have it out, I was thinking about a light weight flywheel. Any suggestions, or should I just stick with the stock flywheel and get a better clutch disc & pressure plate?
  4. I've had it installed on my 914-6 in 2003 and just recently on my '97 Turbo S and I wouldn't install anything else. I had another brand installed on my Cayenne 3 years ago and it has already dulled a lot. There is a web site for X-pel which lists authorized dealers. Don't let someone hand cut it on your car. Tom After 9 months I wish I had saved the money and just had the bumper / hood touched up as needed. I have the thinnest one (5 mm?) & some rock chips do show - a couple larger ones made it through to the paint. The thicker one protects better but costs more and is more obvious.
  5. I also have an '02 Boxster S and have installed the Fabspeed Bypass pipes and changed the muffler to a Remus (purchased from Brandywine on Ebay). I think that it sounds great not to loud but has a nice aggressive tone to it. I'll save the cat so if I decide to sell it, it could be put back to stock. I've had others drive or DE instructors ride in my car and they say it feels very strong. They are surprised at it's performance. I've also install a light weight flywheel in it so that helps too. Tom
  6. Thanks for the info, I just started last night installing PSS9 on my 2002 Boxster S. Do you have any experience with different sway bars? The H&R ($400) has 22 & 26 mm bars, but are non-adjustable. The Stable Energies ($500) are 19 & 25.5 mm but are adjustable. Would you suggest the fixed or the adjustable? Also, with the PSS9, what would recommend for a ride height? I plan on driving it on the street as well as to DE events. TOM
  7. H&R has a spring set that will lower your Cayenne about 1.3". Does anyone have any experience installing these or any comments on if they improved the handling? Is the ride any different? Tom
