  1. Aaron, I own a 2000 Boxter S and had the same problem. I had to take my car back to the dealer 4 times wherin the mechanic changed the switch in the seat belt connector. The first 3 visits and switch exchanges did not solve the problem. On the 4th visit, the mechanic called Porsche Corp. and was told that there has been a problem with the switches and ordered a recall and a TSB. The final solution was a switch with GOLD PLATED connectors. It was ordered and subsequently, installed in my Boxter. The fix was right on! I have had no problems with the airbag light since then. Sincerely, FlightleaderK4.
  2. This reply is for: Dannov and Tool Pants..... Thank you for the info.. I sincerely appreciate it. I can not get over the fact that the engine looks so my aircraft engine! Sincerely yours, Flightleader K4.
  3. I am looking for complete and exploded/cutaway view photos of the engine and transmission of my 2000 Porsche Boxter "S". This is the first vehicle I have ever owned where I have never seen what the engine and transmission looks like. If anyone can furnish me with the photos, I certainly will appreciate it. One more thing..... Where can I find a repair and parts manual for my car? Haynes and Chilton do not sell them! If anyone can help me, you can E-mail the photos to me at : " nlc23447@bcpl.net ". Sincerely, Jim Carl
  4. I have a new(to me-just purchased 5 days ago) , 2000 Porsche Baxter S, with only 32,425 miles on it. Carfax clean of everything pertaining to this vehicle. 2-Days ago, the light came on when starting the engine and stays on until I shut the engine down and turn off the ignition. How can I correct the problem without an expensive to the doctor and time I will lose, pacing the waiting room? Thankyou, Jim C. Flightleaderk4
