  1. Couple years have passed and I have just got around to the repair. Internal switch in door lock mechanism prevented window from dropping the required distance to close the door. Would always stay up until door latch interior or exterior handle is pulled. It was not the micro switch as some folks recommended. Pelican Parts # 3D1-837-015-C-M100
  2. Same problem just started occurring on my 2006 997.1, thank you for the information.
  3. Contact Darin at http://fdmotorsports.net He will do a nice mod for a very reasonable price and his shop is in Brentwood. Great guy!
  4. Just bought a hybrid piggy for the wifey and the 40K is due. I want to do the stealer 40K service myself because of the outrageous quote of $1700 to replace plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, pollen filter. The rest of the quote is for labor inspections. I do not think I would jeopardize the CPO and I believe I am confident and skilled enough to perform. Can someone chime in and assist giving proper vendors for OEM parts and if plugs are changed will I mess with computer or having to reset for any reason. Thanks a bunch, signed Hybrid newbie!
