  1. White987S, you are correct, it will turn off with the indicator stalk without needing a restart. Guess I should have read the manual. Thanks for all the input.
  2. OK thanks guys. I posted a similar note on rennlist and the replies was this is a feature for European Porsches (I'm in Australia but we get the UK variety here) when parking on a small street and the car is close to the traffic having one side of the parking lights on provides a warning to other drivers. Would have never have thought of that.
  3. All, Not sure if this is a problem with my car or just a strange 997 quirk, but if I turn off my car and I have the turn indicator on, the side which had the indicator active will keep the parking lights on after I shutdown the car and won't turn off until I restart the car and turn off the indicator. I have only had my car for 6 months and haven't noticed this previously so I think it may be a problem with my specific car. My 996TT didn't do this. Any ideas? Car going in for a final warranty check on Tuesday before going out of warranty so will definitely ask the dealer but wanted to check on here first if it is something to be worried about. Thanks
