    The plot thickens. My dead pedal issue has started up again after going away for weeks with replacement of a new throttle body. Now I am wondering if there is a sensor issue too at the pedal. Any ideas?

    Follow up to the above post. I had the throttle body replaced and it cured my problem. Hopefully this helps

    I have a 2005 and have the sane problem, as well. Inititally had the throttle control module replaced (drive by wire) which solved the problem for a short while. Problem has since recurred and is at the shop as we speak. The problem is that no faults are triggered, and unless its on the PIWIS running when the problem happens, it seems difficult to diagnose

    Finally got around to replacing the cabin trunk switch. Part was 60 bucks at Suncoast . I was able to pry the old mechanism out without having to remove the door sill, Plugged in the new switch and snapped it in place. Problem solved

    Still on my to do list. The part is around 60 bucks, I just havent gotten around to doing it. Once I install it, I will post my results

    I removed the battery and checked the unit under- thankfully no damage. Mouse focused only on air filter. Upon reconnecting battery etc I get a "PSM failure" - is this something that will resolve itself after some time driving or do I have to take car to dealer or reset something. any help is appreciated. thank you. Will reset itself once you begin driving

    Loren, I have Durametric and it did show a trunk unlock fault. Could my switch for the trunk release inside the cabin be faulty.? My trunk release switch is kinda loose from me pulling up to hard on it one time.

    Well the dilemma continues. I replaced the trunk microswitch yesterday and got a 2 AM wake up call today by my car alarm. Now I am thinking that the interior motion sensor may be bad. What is involved with replacing this part. I understand that it is in the arm rest compartment ...

    I have a 2005 C2 manual coupe that has lately had the alarm go off every 10-12 hours. Problem seems to go away if I double click the remote and turn off the motion sensor. I ran the codes on my Durametric and had the following codes. (8042) Front Luggage Compartment unlocking which leads me to believe that the trunk sensor is faulty. What is involved with troubleshooting this problem and is fixing it a DIY type project, what parts would I need etc??

    I had same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Turns out the cable to the spoiler motor had become unseated. I believe it is located on the right hand side of the engine compartment and connects to a coupler. Just check that connection to make sure you don't have the same problem as I did.

    Defintely not the former, so must be the latter :) Any pointers (links) as to how to clean the drain lines? Thanks Marc. I would recommend using an air compressor to clear the lines.     Thanks Paul. What made you replace yours? For me, the plastic hood release switch became loosened and wouldnt actuate the release mechanism reliably

    Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the Cabin trunk release switch assembly along the door sill.? I priced the parts at Suncoast but I wanted to know in advance how involved it is. It looks like the panel is held in by two screws but was unable to visualize them to determine if they are a torx screw or not. Any advice is appreciated
