  1. I just did this repair using the pictures here and the TSB provided. Thanks Easy job except for the little bit of contortion required. I didn't remove the console; just the pop off cover behind the 'oddments tray' cover. I sat in the back seat with the front seat moved all the way forward. todd 99 coupe
  2. Both the @200 OEM and the eBay $120 units have the problematic plastic rollers . . . todd 99 Coupe
  3. Thanks guys With the upper [boxster] stop removed all is well. I will need to retrain the windows, since I no longer have the 'one touch' ability. not that I really care about that. todd 99 coupe

Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Loren, No docs from prior owner, so no code. Dealer wants me to set an appointment . . . CR-210 R 3297 W5009692 thanks
  5. I have just installed a new [aftermarket] regulator via instructions here and at rennlist [also posted this question there]. Not a hard task at all. But, I find that the travel downward is short by ~2 inches. Up stop is good as is fore/aft in the channels. I have looked via searches here/there, but can't seem to locate a procedure to adjust the lower stop. I notice a strange screw on each of the window clamps which would move the clamp up or down. Is that the vertical adjustment? It is in the most upward position. It looks like a reverse [male] Torx screw. If I move the clamps down via that, won't it also affect the top stop? thanks todd 99 coupe
