  1. Does anyone know if it is any different if you don't have PASM?
  2. AGREED!!!! But cars are machines, and no matter what machine we talk about, it will need maintenance.
  3. Good points! Both of them! Oh and don't forget to check your oil and make sure you dont have any water bubbles in it!
  4. I got my car back from the shop last night and my dad drove it home. When i came to their house to pick it up I saw a big stream of coolant on the ground and condensation around the cap and on the trunk lid cover. Anyway, he said the car did not overheat so I have no idea what it is. The car was in the shop to replace the oil separator and j hose connected to it. I was told there is some vacuum in the oil separator but I don't think it has to do with the coolant. What do you think?
  5. You know, I just got my car back from the shop yesterday for the same problem. It took a couple hours to fix and the parts were $80. My dad picked up the car from the shop and brought it straight home. When I got home I saw a BIG stream of coolant coming from the middle part of the car on the passenger side, right next to the back passenger tire. So I checked the coolant and there was condensation by the coolant cap and on the top of the trunk lid. The coolant was low but I turned the car on and the amber light that says if the car is too hot started blinking! So I said shoot, I will have to deal with it after I talk to the mechanic. This morning I spoke with him and he told me that he didn't even touch anything with coolant, hmmmnnn!! Point of the story is, be careful, and make sure that it actually is the separator, but it is a great place to start!!
  6. Do you guys know where I can find the clutch kit for the 2.7L Boxster (2000). I can only find the 2.5L on ebay. I was also wondering if anyone knows how much the dealer charges for install? Or if anyone knows any private shops who can do it for a good price, here in LA?
