  1. One more thing, about a fuse. I need to disconnect the PCM, navigation, cd, radio etc... the whole thing... is there a fuse for this ? PLease, i need to do this today. The guy from the service, told me that after the car is shut, the pcm comes to life, some strange activities are occurring, like a cd is being rotated etc... and that is what is draining the bat. We need to check this, so i must know were the fuse is...
  2. I too have seen a Cayenne with the Bose sub over the second battery. Ok, just removed the SUB, and there is no aux battery on my car.
  3. Could you please detail on that ? Were is that cable exactly ? It is doing it again, now with the 3rd new battery. With the car shut down, after about 15 minutes, the consumption is 0.4 something like that if i remember correctly. So it could be that cable you mentioned. I was reading on the web that Tuareg owners are also complaining about mysterious battery discharge.
  4. After I bought my Cayenne Turbo, and reading about this issue on this board, I had them changed a year ago.
  5. UPDATE: Just got a call from the garage: They told me the emissions are now perfect, what they've done was, and i quote "a reset/self cleaning procedure on the lambda probes", and all is fine now. And of course the car passed the MOT. Do you have any idea what that means ?
  6. The car was serviced only at Porsche Dealer, no major repairs, before this MOT, everything was fine.. well, i've noticed a bit of smoke when the engine was cold, but that was it. Head-gasket is ok, coolant level ok. They mentioned a few hours ago the lambda probes, but this morning they said they were ok. Sorry, it is 9PM here :) So they can't give me an answer for the 4.7 MPG fuel consumption... or could this be from the lambdas ? I hope they will give me some error codes for me to post. Thanks.
  7. The CEL was on, but due to a bad wire on a coil, so now it is off, still the problem remains. If there were the lambdas, the CEL would light up right ? I don't understand how it can be off, with all that smoke !
  8. Happy new year guys, please advise on the following, The car is now at the dealer, with the following serious issues: 1. Huge Fuel Consumption (avg 50 liters / 100 KM) - 4.7 MPG 2. Extremely high emissions on the exhaust, like 10 times more than normal, plus smoke. White/bluish smoke. They are not sure what it is, the car has been there for 2 weeks, please give me something to tell them at least... they are so incompetent, it is unbelievable. I was supposed to renew the MOT, but with these emissions, there is NO WAY ! What could it be ? So far, the coils and sparks turned out OK, whatever else they verified they said it checked ok... still the smoke, high emissions and 4.7 MPG.
  9. Of course, it says so in the manual, but in my case, the CE is not flashing.
  10. Update, still haven't found the time to check the fault code. BUT: The idle vibration disappeared, everything runs ok. Still the CE light remained on... Maybe bad gasoline ? <_<
  11. Last night, out of the blue my 2004 Cayenne Turbo, decided to light up the Check Engine, right after I've noticed a strange vibration and shaking of the engine at Idle speed. :lightbulb: Also, that shaking is present when the car is moving off in D, without acceleration. When driving normally, everything works fine, acceleration etc. Just when engine is idling, it shakes strangely. Did this ever happened to someone else ? @StealthTT, if you are reading this, I will give you a call next week, and maybe, if you have some spare time, we can check this with your tester :)
