  1. Ok. So I had the motor replaced with an OEM from Porsche after a used one didn't do the trick. The also lubricated the linkage and all is good.
  2. Thanks Loren, the boys looked at that. It's all good. Looks like another failed motor. Gonna have to buy new....ouch...
  3. So my wipers started to go slow. Then the next morning they just died. My mechanic orders a verified and tested used motor. Same problem. Wtf? The only thing that I can think of is that we put in a new battery the week before . Could that cause a problem? I want to eliminate any electrical or computer issues before I pay for a new motor altogether. Any one else come across this problem ? She's a 2006 cayenne s model. Thanks everyone. Roch
  4. UPDATE...i had my alternator reconditioned. The guy confirmed it was overcharging. Put new regulator in and cleaned it up. I reinstalled and fired her up. All the lights are perfect now. No pulsing. Problem solved! Thanks everybody. Roch
  5. Ok. Thanks for all your input! Roch
  6. This is for a 951... is the procedure the same for 944S? Could I do this myself? I've changed fuel pressure regulator, coolant tank, speedo gears, dash lights. I'm no to bad with wrenches... and the big question is: Is the voltage regulator the real issue? Or should I do other things before I tear into it? Thanks. R
  7. So when the car is off it's measuring 12.77....with engine running it's fluctuating between 15.24 and 15.68. Then with lights on it's fluctuating from 14.98 and 16.04. It wouldn't hold a steady number. Thoughts? R
  8. I just bought a digital meter. I'll see how that goes. Stay tuned. R
  9. So should I go to garage? Or just get proper voltmeter for that? R
  10. So that's one of many I presume. I'll just have to locate them all and clean 'em up. R
  11. Yes. They are tight and corrosion free. Someone mentioned maybe a ground wire? Not sure what I'm looking for in that case or where? R.
  12. I guess I'll have to go buy a digital one then. Stay tuned! Thanks guys. R
  13. Here is where I had it set...see photo
  14. I set the meter to 10. The other options are 2.5 or 50 I believe.
