  1. Thank-you Loren, It has been longer than 4 years with the battery. I will replace it and let you know if that worked. Thanks for the quick response.
  2. We have a 2008 Cayenne (Base). We have owned it for 10 years and so I know the vehicle very well. The button on the interior of the rear lid to automatically close the hatch is not functioning. I have replaced the button and so I know it is not the actual button. I have also checked the fuse box (I know there is a fuse box on the driver side and on the passenger side) and the fuse is good. Interestingly, everything works fine to automatically "open" the rear lid including the release button on the driver's door, all the key fobs and the door open button on the outside of the rear hatch. Also, it may or may not be related, but the passenger side mirror also stopped working at about the same time. While I can still automatically adjust the driver side mirror with the power switch on the drivers door, I cannot adjust the passenger side mirror, nor will it go down when the car is in reverse (knowing the switch needs to be on passenger setting), nor will the side mirrors automatically fold in when I rotate the switch do the folding position. I have naturally searched for a solution but have not found one on this topic. This is my first post ever, so my apologies if I have improperly posted in any way.
