  1. I have been enjoying my used 2006 Turbo S. It has 21 inch Porsche rims with Continental tires. The rims have some curb scratches on the edges. As anyone ever had their rims refinished? If so what is the range of cost? Thanks, John
  2. I bought the Cayenne a view months back. The reason that it does not seem completely normal is that it only happens making a turn. I have tried to get the same response on a straight path and it accelerates and shifts at a reasonable RPM. The situation I am talking about is after a slow to normal speed turn, upon aggressive acceleration it drops into first and the engine just revs and does not shift out of first. It seems to lock itself into first. I do not have much experience with the Cayenne, that is why I was seeking input. Thanks for the response. Additional comments appreciated. John
  3. My 2006 Cayenne Turbo S has done a couple of odd things. On several occasions while making a turn at slow speed and then accelerating aggressive after the turn the transmission drops into first gear and will shift out unless I let off the accelerator. It seems to get hung up it first. It has now done this three times in the last several weeks. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what is going on? Thanks John
  4. I purchased the lasted version of the PCM 2.1 update for the Cayenne. Part # is 955-044-903-61 dated 08/2009. The Navigation DVD just inserts into the remote Nav player. This may sound like a dumb question, but the kit contains 2 more discs: PCM 2.1 Multimedia update CD Navigation and PCM 2.1 Multimedia Update CD Cayenne. The question is are these just a CD version of the update and not used, and the DVD that was contained in the kit does all the updating? I would appreciate any advice. I have a 2006 Turbo S Thanks, John
  5. I am very interested how you solve this. I have a 2006 Turbo S with the 9PZ option for the PCM which is the handset wired into the vehicle. I am trying to figure out how to configure it to operate from by cell phone via bluetooth. Let me know your solution or problems. Thanks, John
  6. I purchased a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S. It has the option 9PZ PCM with a handset. Is it possible that I can use this with my existing cell phone or does this phone require its own unique phone #? I have seen some of the newer cars interface by blue tooth. I am not sure what use this option has if it cannot interface with an existing cell phone or an existing cell phone plan. Any info would be appreciated. John
