    OK, thanks Loren. This is some special grease from the dealership? I can't substitute white lithium grease instead? Is it in a spray can by chance?

    I seem to have a noise coming from a spring on the back side of the brake pedal. This spring looks like it helps bring the brake pedal back up to the top when the brake pedal is released. My question is, has anyone here had the same problem, and if so, can you just remove the spring? Or will removing the spring cause the brakes to not fully release? If I can't remove the spring, is there a way to stop the noise other than turning on the radio? Car is a 6 speed if that makes any difference in the brake pedal... I doubt it. Thanks.

    My driver side power seat is not operating from the memory or the side switch. The passenger seat is working fine though. The power mirrors do not operate either. I pulled fuses and did not see a blown fuse, maybe I missed one, will try again. Does anyone know which fuse controls the driver side seat, or does this sound like something else because the passenger seat still moves? I could look for a wire unplugged under the driver seat I guess, but the fact that the mirrors aren't working makes me thinmk that's not it. Any suggestions?

    I beleive it is 7300 rpm.

    You should have no problems. This is the setup that I have and the wheels don't rub at all.

    part # 996 505 311 04 G2X is this standard or aero? Is the GT3 different # than the aero? Thanks-

    Pardon my ignorance, but why do they have different gauges for a c2 vs c4?

    The wing is made by Techart, and I think it is either Type II or Type III. I bought it from Suncoast Porsche in Florida, it was used but it good condition and came mouted to the rear decklid and painted black. I got it for about a grand but I think they go for more than that new. Eurorev.com has a few pics and prices. It will fit any narrow body 996 either coupe or cab. Aaron

    Trying to decide if the price is worth the difference. Is the 3 spoke also smaller in diameter or just fatter grip? I would like a smaller diameter wheel as well as a fatter grip. Is an aftermarket wheel (RUF) or something else a good idea? They don't seem like much more $ than what the OEM 3 spoke is going for after you change the airbag and the wheel. Anyone have some advice?

    Thanks- the wing is Techart, I didn't really like the oem spoiler for the cab that much, and some of the other aftermarket wings were too agressive or big for my taste. I found this one already painted black and mounted with the whole rear decklid from Suncoast Porsche in Fla. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> can you put up a rear shot of the wind and any contact info for who you got it through, i have been trying to find a good wing with the same thoughts as you. Her you go... sorry for the delay. AG, Can you get a direct rear shot and do you have the model wing that is? I really appreciate it. Sorry for the quality of the pic- car is dirty and it is dark. Don't know the model number, only that it is Techart. I can do some better pics in the daytime later. PM me if you want.

    Definately sounds like wheel lug bolts sticking through too far. If not from extra long bolts, could be you put one on without the cone shaped washer/spacer that fits on all the lug bolts?
