  1. Thanks Loren, good advice... and my apologies to JFP who's handleI fat fingered badly above. That will teach me not to send out stealth emails from work when I should be... well, working!
  2. Some years ago I purchased an M30 ROW suspension kit from Suncoast and installed on a 99 996 C2... I've since replaced the 99 with a lower mileage 2002 996 C2 and swapped the suspension over from the 99 to the 02... Suncoast however indicates that the kit is different for the 2002 and up 996s but all they can tell me is that the spring and shock part numbers are different... Loren/JPA or anyone else out there have experience with these kits and have I gone down the wrong road in putting an early 996 kit on a 2002 996??? thanks/steve
  3. My 2002 996 C2 narrow body coupe has a large fixed spoiler in the back and the stock front bumper cover... The net effect is lots of front end float and wander at higher speeds... Very unnerving! Short of replacing the entire front bumper with either the Porsche aerokit or GT3 type front bumper at great cost, has anyone had success with just an add on lip spoiler such as one offered by GT3TEK??? Any experience or recommendations for which product works best at increasing front end downforce??? thanks/steve

    tool

Like Ahsai's note above, I got my set from Sears... a bit more than $40 but looks just like the snap on tool and worked fine on both front and rear springs...
  5. Thanks all... for the time being I've decided to forgo the H&R lower springs and the subsequent need for adjustable control arms, and just install the RoW M30 springs/shocks and sway bars. I'll be testing out the car at Summit Point over Thanksgiving so hopefully that lets me know I've made a good decision... by the way, swapped out the suspension using the DIY guide on this site and it was a piece of cake!
  6. How is the road noise on street for the HTR Ziii's.... I've heard they are hatefully noisy.
  7. I'm currently upgrading a stock 2002 996 C2 with a RoW M30 suspension but also have a set of H&R lowering springs that came with the car... anyone have any experience in combining the RoW M30 sways and struts with H&R springs??? Good idea / Bad Idea??? thanks/steve
