  1. If you have sport chrono package then DRL can be disabled thru your PCM. I enabled this feature in my 997.
  2. Hi Loren, Do you know which year the newer cable came into production? Thank you. Matt
  3. I have a 2007 997.1 Tip. Started to replace AOS but can't seem to locate it. I've remove both AC unit and Alternator but don't see it. where else to look? Thanks.
  4. Three step procedure: 1. Squeeze down on the black plastic thing in the pix. 2. While holding down the black sheathing around the white plastic thing, slide black sheathing as far left as it can go. 3. Get a hold on the bolt sitting inside the white plastic thing and pull bolt towards you. Hope the pix help. Matt
  5. I got the tank out by keeping the rear on Jack Points and keeping the front on the ground. Also jacked the rear passenger side up slightly higher than the driver side while driver side was sitting on JP.... then pulled out the tank. It was tight but managed to remove the tank. It went in without a hitch! Will wrap up the coolant tank in the morning as it is getting dark on the east coast. Thanks again Loren & JFP for your suggestions. Very much appreciate it. Thank you. Matt
  6. Thanks JFP. Not sure what else to loosen to allow engine to drop further. Engine is not supported by floor jack at this point. Looking upwards I can see the pointy tip of the engine mounts on the same bottom horizontal plane as the engine bracket. Thank you. Matt
  7. Hi Loren. Thank you for the suggestion. I've lowered both sides. From the pix can it go down much further? Pix taken thru the opening of tail pipes. Still can't take it out. Thank you Matt
  8. Got an early start on my DIY weekend today. Planning to replace the following: 1. Coolant Tank 2. AOS 3. Water Pump & Thermastat 4. S Belt 2007 997.1 Tip 60K miles I am we'll into #1 but am stuck on removing my coolant tank. I am using DIY from Pelican and at the point where I've lowered the engine, disconnected/relocate hoses and cables out of the way per instructions but unable to wiggle free the coolant tank from engine compartment. The tank is not attached to anything and is free move about. SOS! If only I can remove the plastic mounting bracket seen in the top of the tank in pix #2 that is used to hold the tank in place. Removing this bracket may give me more room to wiggle free the tank. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Matt
