  1. I have an 06 TTS and I can't figure out how to remove the belt without removing the pressure pipe on the left hand side since there's so little room. Were you able to replace the belt without removing the pressure pipe on driver side?
  2. Same issue here for my 2006 CTTS. I hooked up Durametric to it but cannot find any code. Please help! Thanks.
  3. I just did the valve cover gasket job on my 2006 Cayenne Turbo S. The information I found online were invaluable along with this one. It was a real big job and having the proper tools as everyone stated is essential. Be patient and it can be done. I spent 5 hours on the driver's side and about 3-4 hours on the passenger side. So far so good but I haven't put much miles on yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. As someone stated on another forum, this tools was invaluable for removing the back bolts on either side. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TSMQWU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Thanks for the info. I'm trying to access your photos from your previous post but cannot see it. Do you know how I can see those pictures? Thanks.
  5. I just found out that my 06 Cayenne Turbo S have a bad center servo motor. Using Durametric, it looks like the "Servo motor for center vents" are stuck. Based on what I see on this thread and others, there are 2 Servo motor for the center vents (#16 & #3 in the diagram above). Does anyone know if I can just order the Toureg part number for the 06 Cayenne and can I replace those 2 servo motors without having to remove the dash? Thank you very much in advance for the help. Kiet
  6. I have preliminary installed the unit and have it working somewhat. It's not 100% done as I am still awaiting the a fakra to rca connector so I can connect the OEM reverse camera to the unit. Yes - it does have bluetooth audio and I did not have to run any wires. All the necessary wires came with the unit. I have an 06 CTTS w/ the Bose system and it works like a charm so far. It's almost truly plug and play. It has it's own GPS antenna so you have to use it's antenna. It comes w/ the MOST adapter so it works seamlessly with the existing Bose. Sound is actually quite good. So far - it's definitely worth the money I spent. Being able to keep the OEM reverse camera functionality was a huge deciding factor for me. And it looks like I can do that. I have to get a fraka to rca connect for the backup video input and also need a relay to get the OEM camera to pop out when in reverse mode. Yes - you do retain the steering wheel controls. I've tested the volume control & mute buttons and they worked perfectly. I've also tested the track forward trace backward button and they worked perfectly as well. This is a great unit from what I see thus far. I do see certain interface that could be improved... such as the touch screen. The touch screen response is not as good as I expected. I had to touch the screen more than once sometime for it to respond. The USB interface for music search is not great. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it better... maybe it just takes time to figure it out. There are some other quirks as well but I'll get into that later when I have some more playing time with the unit.
  7. I will update the folks here that are interested in the DVN-PC as I expect to receive shipment on Friday, 2/21/2014. Crossing my fingers that all will integrate seamlessly. I doubt it highly but being optimistic.
  8. Hi - Have anyone install or heard of this product for our Cayenne? I came across this on Amazon and it looked like a great product but I can't seem to find any reviews anywhere from any of the Cayenne forums. Here's a link to the production I'm talking about. http://www.amazon.com/Porsche-Cayenne-Navigation-2003-2010-Digital/dp/B009ZQ57LC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_1 It looks like it's a perfect fitment to replace the current PCM. What am I missing? Thanks. Kiet
  9. Hi all -I am looking to buy my first new to me Cayenne and I have narrowed it down to either a 2008 CTT (45K miles) or a 2006 CTTS (23K miles). From was I've researched thus far - the 2006 CTTS has 520hp vs the 2008 CTT 500hp. My understanding is that the 2008 is pretty much the same style as the 2006. I really like the 2006 since it's the color I want (White/Beige). The 2008 is Silver/Black which is not a bad color combo either. I'm leaning towards the CTTS for the low miles and color combo. It also has the CPO warranty. Both are priced the same. Any recommendation or suggestion. Thank you.Kiet
  10. I am looking to do the same on my 2001 996tt which came with the 10 speakers Hi-fi package. I have already replaced the head unit with a double-din Kenwood player. Right now - I am in the process of replacing the door midbass speakers with the Pioneer TS-D1320C component set as used by 1dmurray above. Question I have is with the resistance of the Pioneer speakers. They are rated at 4 ohms while my OEM speaker are rated at 2 ohms. I am not planning on replacing the amplifier. Do you guys noticed any issues (or lower sound output) with these aftermarket 4 ohms speakers running with the 2 ohm stock amp? I'm also thinking bout replacing the dash speakers as well and pretty sure they are 2 ohms rated as well. Thanks. Kiet
  11. SliderG35 - thank you much for your help. I took apart the panel and one of the plug was not connected to the seat memory unit (thus no illumination). Once I plugged it in - works like a champ. Thanks again. Kiet
  12. Yes - that's exactly what is happening to seat memory. It is not working no matter what I've tried and I've tried everything. I've also checked the fuse and that also is good. At this point, I'm not even worrying about the key of working. I just want to get the memory button working on the car. I don't know - maybe a bad memory unit. I know the memory number does not illuminate at night time, but I don't know if that is normal or not. Thanks.
  13. Hi - Was there ever a solution for this? I just purchased a 2001 911tt and the seat memory is not working no matter what I've tried. I checked fuses as well and all looks well. I have the M, key, 1, and 2 buttons. I've tried all combination to try to memorize my seat setting but it does not work. When I go to recall the setting, nothing happens. I'm about of lose my hair on this one. Any help would be awesome. Thanks. Kiet
