Hi did you ever solve the idle and cut out problem on your car? I have the same on my 1999 C2 manual 996. If so, what was the problem? thanks in advance Mike@ex-lancs.com

any idea where that is exactly on a 2000 cab? it seems to idle ok.

Hi All, This is doing my head in. The car drives beautifully with all the power that it needs. Bought it two weeks ago and have been driving it daily. For the past two days it has been stalling as I come from 3rd gear to second and notice a drop in revs to less than 300 rpm then it stalls. Starts straight back up and drives nicely again. It is a tipronic. If I slow down and roll to a stop, no problems. I have cleaned the MAF, throttle body, checked all the hoses, cleaned the emissions thing that hangs on the left of the throttle body, checked the air filter is clean. Any clues or ideas?
